I believe it's a screening interview. I was interviewed by HR who was looking for specific Accounting skillset so the training period would be short. She was polite and straightforward in explaining how I was not the candidate they were looking for. She was looking for someone with work experience relevant to handling A/P, A/R, posting journals, working with fixed assets and strong background on GAAP.
