Interview with recruiter followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager, who stated I didn’t need factory experience, then, in a room full of three others, changed his tune. One person in the room decided as soon as they walked in that I was not going to be chosen and attacked or misunderstood everything I said as if I was lying just because he didn’t get it and disliked me. They all made me more nervous than necessary and acted like a bunch of bullies. I’m glad I avoided the dysfunction that was this team, and they are the ones losing out. I didn’t think Henkel was allowing these kinds of people to run the show. And don’t dress well. They won’t appreciate it. Plant tour portion obviously didn’t happen and some guy says he will walk me out and insults me to ask if I drove myself there. They made an experienced and amazing worker and human feel 2 feet tall and for what? Give somebody a chance and if you don’t like them it’s unnecessary to derail them immediately and tear them apart. Just send them a rejection.
