Applied online. Received an email in a week for a phone interview. Phone interview with the director lasted about 45 minutes. Questions were mostly about my higher education background and experience and how I could relate that to working at Herzing. I had graduated with a four year degree from a traditional university. The director told me that the student demographic at Herzing was not like my experience and therefore I wouldn't be able to relate to struggling single parents and poverty-stricken students because "I never struggled and had parents that loved me". I was so shocked at the assumption I barely defended myself. Was told I would be contacted regardless if I got the position or not within a week. Was never contacted.
