2 phone interviews with junior team members and then fly out with another 4 rounds, including hiring manager. Extremely unprofessional HR at HPE. They scheduled the phone interviews without even cc'ing me, so I received a call from HR asking me why I was not on the call, and I then told them I never even received the invite! Then they flew me out - I flew in from a different continent (15 hour flight), yet they were surprised at my low energy level the next morning. Basically looks like they have a huge chip on their shoulders, as you have to convince them that you really really want this job. Oh and good luck getting reimbursed. 2 months after the interview I finally got reimbursed, and this is after I emailed HR (completely useless guy, didn't help at all throughout the interview scheduling and followup process) and finally the hiring team - only then did anything start to happen. Looks like a chaotic bureaucratic hellhole, to be honest. US economy is doing well, do yourselves a favor and go to another firm (and one that's actually growing). Left with a very sour taste.
