I spoke with a recruiter during the entire process. He was super helpful. On our first call, he informed me I may not be satisfied with the position due to my education (over-qualified). I thanked him for the advice and decided not to continue. A week later he called me to tell me the hiring manager was interested to meet with me and did not think training would be an issue. We scheduled the interview for a week later. After the interview, the recruiter informed me the hiring manager found that training would be an issue. I wish I would have listened to him in the first place.
