After our initial introductions, the company's representatives were very responsive over email. My interview experience was positive overall. I met with the cofounder over the weekend (the time fit both of our busy calendars). I felt I got a good sense of the company's short term priorities as well as some insights into future monetization plans. The interview felt more like a conversation rather than a check-the-box exercise with 4 or 5 pre-determined questions. I was also given appropriate time to ask questions and follow-ups. Ultimately, the company chose to go with a different candidate who had a different experience profile that aligned better to what they wanted out of the role. I appreciated their responsiveness and feedback within a week of the interview.
