      The entire interview process was clear, concise and professional. My interview meetings gave me a comprehensive understanding of role expectations and company values. Scheduling was flexible and the meetings felt productive. Every person involved was down-to-earth and focused. Overall the process gave me confidence in my decision and made me excited to join the company.

      After submitting my application through the company website, I received an email inviting me to complete a 30-minute online assessment. The communication came from a generic no-reply email address, with no recruiter contact information or opportunity to ask questions about the process, role, or company. The assessment itself was quite stressful, with a strict five-minute countdown timer for each question, which added unnecessary pressure and did not feel reflective of a typical interview experience. A few days after completing the assessment, I received a rejection email with no feedback. The entire process felt highly impersonal and one-sided, focused solely on evaluating candidates without providing any meaningful opportunity to learn about the role, team, or company. Given that HiBob operates in the HR technology space, I expected a more candidate-friendly and engaging experience. Unfortunately, the process lacked the human touch and transparency that one would hope for from a company focused on improving employee and people experiences. Overall, I found the experience disappointing and not representative of best practices in candidate engagement.

      I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HiBob in Dec 2023

      Interview

      I had three interviews with HiBob. The first was with HR and the next two were with the hiring manager. The third interview was task-based. The job description was clear and I felt the interviews went well. Everyone was professional initially and it appeared to be a great place to work, I felt excited and confident in my application. The interview process took a negative turn at the third interview presentation stage. After the interview, I received feedback that wasn't aligned with the job description or what I was told they were looking for in the first two interviews. The feedback was quite insulting to my experience and poorly written with grammatical mistakes. I had asked for clarification and received no response. Based on this interview process, I wouldn't recommend applying at HiBob due to the way I was treated as a candidate.
