The interview process was very lengthy and contrary to popular belief, if you go through the morning interview process and get invited back to the afternoon session, that doesn't mean you will receive an offer. I am retiring as a Major from over 20 years of active service and the feedback I initially received after the first round of interviews was that I was over qualified. In the end, I did not receive an offer and I was told my answers were too philosophical and not specific enough. I had to answer the questions citing military examples and I guess the information didn't sink in with the hiring managers. They claim to have a commitment to hire veterans but the whole waste of 8 hours led me to believe otherwise. Believe me, they are looking for someone with specific experience in manufacturing. I wont be reapplying as the whole 8 hours was a waste of time.
