I went in around 3:00 pm, and filled out an application there. After filling it out I asked to speak to the manager and recieved my first interview on the spot. They were extremely friendly, but a little intimidating. Questions were relative to my previous work history, experiences, and they asked why I wanted to work there as opposed to other restaurants. I then was asked to fill out a personality test, as well as a general knowledge test. They then asked me to come back for another interview the following week to meet with their hiring manager and their GM. I went back for my second and third interviews, and was asked if I understood the rigor of work at Hillstone compared to other serving jobs. Again, it was a little intimidating. I passed both interviews and was asked to come back and job shadow with one of their servers within the next few days- and that I would need to purchase the correct attire for work. After buying the white button-up shirt, black slacks, and slicking my hair back, as well as seeing how intense working there would be (with my lack of serving experience, and this being an end-all for some servers), I called back and politely declined the offer. Seems like an amazing place to work with great opportunities for servers, but it just wasn't the right fit for me.
