Responded to a Craigs List advertisement and arrived with a resume and the form liked to in the advertisement prepared. Had a five minute one on one interview with a manager. Very standard why do you want to work here and what to you have to offer us type of questions. I was informed at the end of the interview that the hiring process is a minimum of three interviews and I would be contacted within 24 hours of each interview if I was going to be invited to another interview and told not to contact the restaurant to follow up.. Was contacted within 15 minutes of leaving for a second interview. Upon arrival for second interview I completed a 4 or 5 page personality test (the type with a great deal of integrity questions). The second interview was with a different manager from the first interview. Started with basic what are your outside interests what do you do for fun type of questions. Moved into specific questions about places I worked previously, including one of those give me an example of how you were treated unfairly by a manager and how did you handle it questions. I was then asked to give descriptions of my favorite menu items from my previous work places as if I were describing them to a guest. At the conclusion of the second interview (approximately 15 minutes) I was asked to return that evening for an RJP - Real Job Performance interview. I returned in the requested attire and was given an intelligence test. After that was graded I was assigned to two different servers to follow for an hour each. At the conclusion of the follow I was paid in cash for my time and told I would be contacted within 24 hours if I was going to be scheduled for a final interview. I was not contacted and did not follow up as was requested at the first interview. Five days later I was called and asked if I was still interested and asked to come in for the final interview. I had a 5 minute interview with the third manager a few days later. I wasn't really asked much of anything but was told more about the job and company and asked to complete a background check form. I was told that if it checked out that I would be contacted within 24 hours with the job offer and an orientation and training schedule and that if I was not contected within that time frame I would not be offered a position. I was not contacted within 24 hours. Three days later I was called and offered the opportunity to train.
