I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Hillstone Restaurant Group
Interview
The interview process was very thorough and was also very fair in a sense of the questions were not trying to trick you. The people were extremely pleasant as well.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Hillstone Restaurant Group in Oct 2019
Interview
I had two Zoom interviews, one working interview (they fly you out, put you up in a sweet hotel and pay your expenses), and then third Zoom interview. If you google around you will find all of the general types of questions you should be prepared to answer. If you have any restaurant experience you will crush the working interview; just say 'behind', smile, be a smooth talker, and look for ways to stay busy. Most of the kids in my interview group had never worked a day in service of others (all kids from the top 15 schools) and it showed. Don't expect them to call you back for at least a week if not two between each part of the process. Be ready for them to talk numbers at you A LOT.

Interview
Met a representative at my university's career fair and scheduled a Skype interview for a week later. The interviewer was very polite, but asked a few questions that I felt were inappropriate such as what other opportunities I was applying for. Great company, but the culture felt very internally competitive.
