While they get back in a timley manner when you submit your application, after having to wait more than 25 minutes I could already tell this was a "technique" either the manager or corporate placed I believe to see how desparate you are for the position. I've seen this before and it was obvious. She claimed that it was busy and "lots of moving parts" which is very true however, in a half packed restaurant and seeing more than 8 runner/servers idily standing, there was some skepticism. Once the interview started it was clear they just rely on the reputation of the brand and essentially see if you can ego stroke them into why you want to work for them. Also, turnover rate is extremely high in this field and based off the reviews I can certainly see why. The manager that interviewd me does not know basic turnover rate and believes any person working will want to work there for a prolong period of time while being rude with no care for the actual experience. On top of that, I read the reviews and literally all of them were about extremely poor management and brutal force of corporate policy. What I found even more funny was that some reviews were based off being turned away due to "not in standard with dress code policy", yet while I was waiting I see people wearing gym clothes being accepted without a problem. Seems like they just cater to certain people and if you dont look like a well off customer, they have no problem turning you away. So many redundancies which was confusing consdering "consistency" seems like a bad joke. They hire management that essentially has one important quality which is just being a cold stone wall with no regard to basic courtesy in a hopsitality field. Beware of extremly poor management.
