I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hilton (Lake Buena Vista, FL) in Oct 2018
Interview
Received an email from Hilton, requesting a video interview. This video interview is automated with no one on the other end of the video. Just a box with questions and another box with your video response. You get 2-3 min. to provide your response per question.
After the video interview, I then received an in-person interview request. The person I met with was pleasant and briefly spoke about what the position entails as well as the company. She also introduced me to another person on the team which I was able to get her insight on the company. She then advised she wanted me to meet with her supervisor. When we arrived at his office, he introduced himself and immediately started asking me questions about my previous experience as well as several personal questions which made me very uncomfortable to include what my spouse did for a living, how the care of my children would be handled, etc. It felt more like an interrogation than anything else.
First, I had a call with a recruiter who lived in a different state, after that a video call with HR Manager and the HR Assistant Director, then a video call with the HR Director.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Hilton (Hilton, NJ) in Sep 2021
