Went through a recruiting agency. First immediate contact with Hitachi was a pointless technical interview. The interviewer clearly searched a couple of minutes before on what are the most frequent questions regarding .NET and expected textbook-answers. The usual culprits, SOLID, design patterns, etc. The most surprising question was to state the advantages of using .NET Framework vs .NET Core without even knowing about .NET renaming, as if Microsoft would still recommend .NET framework at all. As for frontend, just a simple React exercise, where the interviewer clearly was not interested on the solution, just that it worked. When asked on why the client switched from Angular to React, the answer was that Angular was no longer supported by Google... clearly a lack of knowledge from the interviewer. What a waste of time overall and if this represents how the company hires/works, just run away, it's my only advice.
After loosing time with the interview, being just one person, clearly there were other interests behind and the interview process stopped.
