I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Hitachi Energy (Chennai) in Feb 2022
Interview
I would say the only good thing about the Interview process is the Hiring managers, who were polite and open with the results. One huge draw back is the HR's attitude after the selection process. They never respond very easily and you would lose interest to work in this company only because of them. They go their way to lie to the recruiting manager to save their face regarding the budget. I got through the role and asked for Industrial standard salary, but they gave me 50% of what I have asked for. Remember the Gross and net has a huge gap. The HR response is so poor and will keep you waiting after numerous polite mails and follow up. I think Hitachi will lose good candidates only because of HR's attitude. There was no re-negoitation even after saying I am open for disucssion. They want to save money for the company at the expense of Good candidate. There is no respect for communication or time of the candidate here, they will defend themselves saying they are busy. Yes, you might be busy but it will take 2 min mail or a call to inform the candidate of the status.
