I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (New Orleans, LA) in May 2015
Interview
Average interview questions. Then the test. I was not prepared for it. Basically a math test, no calculator. It was intimidating because I havent taken a math class in quite a while. Its also intimidating since the manager is just sitting in front of you while youre struggling to remember how to do long division or any type of short cut to find percentages because its been so long since youve had to do it by hand.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hobby Lobby (Pensacola, FL)
Interview
Extremely easy. Was during seasonal so management let pretty much anybody in. Had to take a quick test, which was easy enough. The woman who interviewed me was very personable during the process.
The interview process was swift and easygoing. The managers had great personalities and were easy to communicate with. They made you feel at home before you even started the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked for my availability, what made me choose this job, where I plan to be in the next 5 years.
It was very smooth process. They asked me 4 or 5 questions and then let me ask questions. They gave me a tour of the store and introduced me to the other people working there.
