Shortly thereafter I was called back and offered a 6 week contract in Alaska and once that was finished and I recieved a good review from my Cruise Director I was offered an 8 month contract sailing from LA to Australia and New Zealand and then on to SouthEast Asia.

Applied to every cruise line out there. It's important to include a photo with your resume and do something fun to make it stand out. I had some confetti in mine and put my resume and CV in a hard binder. They call and you call back to schedule a phone interview. I was hired immediately after my phone conversation and was sent paperwork and had to do a physical. Once that was submitted I was sent confirmation of my contract and plane tix.
