I got pushed to the 2nd round of interviews where I was interviewed with two groups of people. The group panel were giving me bad energy. They were not interested in my current role with my company and all the experience I have gain within the position. Instead they were constantly asking about work over 7 years ago. Holland and Knight talks about work/life balance but you were not allowed to request off from November to the first week of January and overtime would be mandatory. Not only that you cannot request off to spend time with your family over the holidays but overtime is expected. With a team of 50 people, you would think the firm can manage their time wisely throughout the year instead of waiting until the end of the year to force overtime upon their employees. That does not sound like a healthy work/life balance to me.

I had a phone interview with HR. It sounded like she was outside with loud background noise. It seemed as though she was in a rush and that made it very uncomfortable. I was then ghosted.
