I applied in-person. I interviewed at Hollister Co. in Aug 2012
Interview
It was a group interview of course there were 8 people in total , it was very laid back and chill I was really nervous at first but once it started it wasnt to bad we sat in the lounge area and we were yelling the hole time so we could be heard over the music it was a little frustrating but not horrible,I had done researcher before I went but the questions for impact were nothing I had prepared for
the mangers asked the models and impact applicants separate questions
Impact was asked
descibe be a time when you had to work with a difficult person and how did you handle them
Same question just reworded basically
Explain a time when you went above and beyond
then to everyone what is diversity and why is it important in the work place
And talk about yourself
For models the questions were super simple
Do you like to be alone or with a group of people
Describe hollisters style
Why do you want to work for Hollister
So I recommend applying for model no matter what its alot easier and less nerve racking
It was very easy. they asked you about your retail experience and asked behavior questions that were very easy to answer. So I thought it was straight forward in my humble opinion
Apply online and invited to group interview with approx. 5 other people. The interview is in a casual environment e.g. in the shopfloor, interviewer was welcoming and easy to get along with
