I was recruited while shopping a store. Had my first interview with a Store Manager at the store. It lasted about 10 minutes, I was asked zero questions about work experience. Then interviewed with the DM. I'm not kidding, he spent half the interview on his cell phone and maybe asked me two questions. I was hired two days later.

The interview is all situational based questions. Dress brand appropriate and be able to speak to any past leadership experience you may have. Fairly quick, you interview with a Store Manager first and then the District Manager.

If you are above 30 years old, be prepared for absolute age discrimination. You can look amazing, to have perfect portfolio but when it comes to your age, hiring managers are extremely picky. In EU questions like age, ethnicity etc are prohibited but hollister management will find the way...
