1. Spoke with a recruiter. 2. Had a phone interview with the team. 3. Had an in person interview with the team and manager. 4. Received a starbucks giftcard saying I'll hear from a TA rep soon and to leave a glassdoor review after the interview process. 5. Got news that I made it to the final stage and they were working on the offer. 6. All of a sudden.....they tell me that HR put a hold on hiring until next yr due to the fiscal yr end approaching and "worries of recession" but that they were sorry as I was a perfect candidate for the position. Very disappointed to have applied and gotten that far into a job offer as a new grad and for it to have been revoked that quickly at the last step. About a 3 week process. Not sure how a company can post jobs and do interviews without knowing that they are not currently hiring. I left on good terms but it is not a company I think I would want to work for after something like this. It was unexpected as I knew someone who worked there and said good things. Other than that, the interview process was smooth and the team was great, I loved the diversity and was looking forward to this job but thank you for the experience!!
