I was contacted by an agency and had to wait one month for interview. There were 3 peoples who had no idea about what they are interviewing about. A lady on the phone was asking all the irrelevant questions which was not even clear and had to have a very hard time listening to her. One guy kept blabbering about the company. Funny thing is that they rejected me saying that i am not good in development while this job is a dba???? It was a complete waste of my time and my gas in my car.same on you company.

I was invited down after a successful phone screen to their office in Orange, CA. I interviewed with two ladies, Both asked great interview questions which I answered with extended knowledge, confidence and skills. At one point when I mentioned that I had been doing Digital Marketing strategies for 14 years the interviewer looked very surprised as if I struck a bone. She even repeated my sentence. Afterwards, I asked how soon they were looking to fill the position and was told "right away" they also informed me that this was the final stage of the interview process and that I would receive feedback shortly by the end of the week. The end of the week came and went so I inquired on the following Monday. Only to be ignored. So I telephoned on Wednesday the girl that Phoned Screened me and also Interviewed me. She apologized for being "busy" and not able to respond to my email. Then says "I will let you know either way if you get the position or if we decide to go with someone else" by such and such day....Well "such and such" day came and went again. No response. So I inquired again and she stressed "I will let you know if we hire someone, etc. Don't worry" she says "Don't worry" as if she is sweet. Fast Forward 1 year later a "LinkedIN" suggestion of "Do you know this person" pops up. Interesting, it is the girl who never contacted me. Promised me 4+ times that she will let me know if they hire someone or if they want to hire me or if the job gets cancelled I never heard from the girl and stop contacting her to follow up on the position after 3 months. So I look at her Linked In Profile only to see she started the job that I interviewed for the same month she is promising me that she will "contact me either way." I bet she told them she sent me an offer and that I never responded or something and then took the position that I interviewed for. Why else would she just not send me an email saying the position had been filled? I see both the job that she was currently working when she interviewed me and also see the new job she started that I interviewed for in which she never even sent me a courtesy email. I think businesses should only let HR do the hiring......
