Interview
The hiring manager reached out and setup a time for an interview. Hour long interview with 5 questions. Two others on the call besides the manager. They were all friendly and the interview was over Teams.

Interview
Location is in Torrance, CA.
Interviewers barely introduced themselves and did not provide any insight on the role (which had no description) or the company's products. I was expecting a 1:1 with the hiring manager but two other engineers showed up on the call. Hiring manager did not ask any meaningful questions about resume and expected the interviewee to fill up the time ("describe yourself" or other similar blanket statements). The other engineers did focus on asking questions about my resume although they were vague questions.
After clarifying the role, it seems they did not want to offer ANY training and simply wanted someone to grind. HM was rude and insulting (asked if I was interested in a E1 role instead, went on a slight tangent claiming that engineers nowadays just want $200k right from the get go).
I applied online. I interviewed at Honeywell Technologies (Ottawa, ON) in Jun 2019
Interview
Technical, technical and then HR.
Lots of design questions and drawings on white board. Good technical discussions back and forth. Very talented people and they will know within minutes if the candidate has depth in technical knowledge.

Detailed design steps, thought process and discussion. Very technical. It was fun.
