I had 5 different interviews with the team, went very quick. One with the hiring manager who is a young guy. He started the interview by complaining about his former employee for not promoting him in an emotional manner, he seemed a bit immature to be honest. But a nice guy regardless.
The next two interviews the hosts were late 10+ minutes each, which is not exactly professional. Went to the last stage which is lunch with the team and I was told the following day that they found me shy and not outgoing which I found laughable and a lazy feedback, it's also the opposite of who I am as person.
If a company allows a peer’s 45-minute lunch observation to override a successful role play and a senior manager's approval, then their decision making process is flawed. My impression is it's a team culture where the "loudest in the room" is valued over the "best at the job."
The only positive person in the process was the recruiter who followed throughly and instantly, she was the only one who did her part properly in my eyes.
