It was more like a phone screen. The hiring manager set aside 30 minutes to talk about my experience during the call. Before the call ended she mentioned they were looking to hire someone quick and she’d be in touch if I was moving to the next step. I didn’t hear from her after a day or so, so I assumed I didn’t get picked. That Friday she emailed and basically lied about how they had some setbacks due to conflicting schedules, and I’d hear back the following week. I know she lied because I checked their site and noticed the posting was no longer there. That was almost two weeks ago and she ghosted me. It was super odd (more like cruel) that she would go out of her way to make up that lie. Definitely not a good look.
