I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hortonworks in Jan 2014
Interview
All interviews were conducted via telephone and Skype. Interviewed with peers, direct manager, 2nd line manager, and then peers again. I thought the process was fair and to the point. I got a good idea of company culture and the role during the process. My offer was extended minutes after my last interview.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Hortonworks in Jul 2014
Interview
I had a very positive interview experience. Due to travel, I did three phone interviews, two with the manager and one with the director. They did a good job asking about my background but also sharing with me the culture of both the team and the company. They did a great job of sharing with me the great opportunity ahead!
