Question 1
What was the last thing you were coached on in your current role
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (San Diego, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
When I arrived the women at the front desk took me to the room where I would be interviewed. The room was fine but the glass doors were a bit intimidating as all the employees would walk by and stare at you every minute or so.
After about 10 minutes two men walked in and the interview process began. They would take turns asking various questions about work history, sales, and background. While one asked the question, the other would stare at you with no emotion trying to gauge your authenticity.
After about 30 minutes, the first interview concluded and two women walked in for the 2nd round interview. This was more laid back and conversational. Situational kind of questions and joking around.
process took about an hour total

Tell me about a time you failed at something that you really wanted to succeed in.
Thanks for your comments. We're a start up and we keep things as open as we can, which includes having no offices and glass walls on the few conference rooms that we do have. I'm sorry it felt intimidating - definitely not our intent. As you were a referral from one of our employees you probably know that we pride ourselves on our transparent culture and team environment. We'll work to help candidates feel more comfortable when they visit. Thanks for sharing.
