Interview
Look, everyone here on Glassdoor gives an exact depiction of the interview process. It is long, repetitive and they ask you about your time in college.
What I will add was that in the San Diego office a person who interview me looked at my current salary and questioned whether or not I would have the drive to make a lot of money, implying that the lowest pay of this job would be way more than what I currently made and assumed that I would settle for the bare minimum of commission. It was so disrespectful, I was so thrown off by the question and offended.
Secondly, the San Diego office has to be the least diverse office ever!!! I was there for probably a good 6 hours throughout the interview process, I searched long and hard for anyone who was not white. I did not see what minority worker there. It was so bizarre and I felt out of place even just being Half-Mexican.
The job requires no skill whatsoever and you would be doing the same cold calls everyday, if you want a soul or to utilize your brain, Houzz is not for you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did you handle living with your college roommate?
Met with recruiter then hiring manager and team lead manager I would be working with. Pretty fast overall process once they have reached out to you. Several quick questions about experience and then metrics into their company and what the role entails.
It was an efficient process. One phone interview with their recruiter and then an in person interview with a manager. Role playing was part of the interview process (the manager gave me a specific complaint and I had to resolve the customer’s problem).

Interview
Thorough but comfortable! I had multiple interviews, but everyone was very personable. They requested an at home typing speed test (to be completed after the first interview) and asked me to email the results to the recruiter.
