I applied on the company site and immediately got a response from the recruiter asking to schedule a call. Once we were through with the initial call we scheduled a telephonic technical interview. Interviewer gave a brief introduction on what he does and asked me about my background. I have been doing the same work as the interviewer so communication was not a problem. Then interviewer asked me a very basic technical questions and I answered it well. I provided 2 ways to solve the problem and asked interviewer if he has a preference on what approach I should demonstrate. I even wrote working code. One thing that bothers me a lot is i know the answer and approach to solve the problem was correct. Still next day I received a standard script from the recruiter saying they are not moving forward and stuff. This seems like waste of time.
