Interview
I had a total of three interviews (phone screen, Skype interview with a hiring manager, then final Skype interview + role play with a different hiring manager). The first two interviews were extremely positive and I was very affirmed and encouraged by both interviewers. During the final interview, they ask more difficult questions about why you're a good fit for sales, if you want to do sales long term, and how comfortable you are being measured up against a monthly quota. I then did a mock sales pitch where I had to convince the hiring manager to create a profile on Houzz (as if he were a kitchen & bath remodeling business). The hiring manager was difficult to read, and ultimately they didn't offer me the position because they "chose to move forward with another candidate."

Who was your favorite and least favorite manager, and why?
Phone screening, two in-person interviews. Very basic get-to-know-you kind of questions. They were interested in what you were like in high school. They used to have the philosophy that your high school performance dictated your professional performance. Not sure if this is still the case.
The interview process was lengthy and you have to go through a fair amount of interviews. There are basic question & answer interviews, and then there was a simulated customer experience interview as well.

Very friendly and informal. First couple of rounds were online, than in-person. One of the steps required to do a mock conversation with a potential customer. Overall, a very positive experience.
