Scheduled phone interview with same recruiter which happened quite quickly- she was very personable, and after that had same-day response from Nashville HR rep. to schedule in-person or Skype interview with Nashville based recruiter. Studied company start-up history, as well as having a lot of background in sales, furniture biz and renovating two of my own homes, plus degree with high GPA and excellent refs.- was at best over- qualified for position. Also studied all of the interview questions previously posted here- the same questions I experienced. Arrived on 24th floor on time, rang several times, (per instructions) and no one sitting right there would let me in- had to ask someone else just arriving if I was in the right place- she was part of Houzz and apparently found someone with the authority to thumb-scan me in. Waited about 15 mins on sofa in make-shift lobby/waiting area. Dress code was yoga pants, sneakers, team jerseys, and visible bra straps. I did not see or hear one employee over the age of 24, except for the in-house recruiter- very pleasant, and may have been all of 28. Believe the previous posts that tell you that you are wasting your time if over 24- I am over 35, but am intelligent and have relevant experience.
