Interview
I have 3 rounds of interviews with Houzz. The first round is simply talking to an HR. The second round is a one-hour coding challenge. The third round lasts for 2 hours and there are two interviewers asking you questions, each for an hour. They ask both questions on your resume, basic computer science questions and code problems.
I applied for this internship at my campus career fair in September 2018 and I got the interview in January 2019. I think they started the internship hiring process in the new year since some of my classmates also got an interview in Jan.
The interview process is good and the interviewers are very nice. I think I did not do very well in the third round and I didn't get an offer. Their headcount number is small (about 10 interns) so it is not easy to get an offer.
