I applied online. I interviewed at Houzz in Mar 2019
Interview
Unprofessional. The recruiter contacted me by email asking to chose the interview date and time, which I did. She then confirmed everything but didn't call on scheduled time. I reminded her about the interview and she asked me to chose another date and time, which I did again. And again she didn't call, without explanations or warning.
Total waste of time.
Other Account Executive Interview Reviews for Houzz
Great company to work for. They have a stringent hiring process. You will have multiple interviews followed by a presentation at the end. All in all they want to see if you understand their platform and user mentality. Big props if you show your personality or if you have a positive attitude it will go a long way. It was definitely gruelling but totally fair as the job itself is quit full on.

Question 1
Why Houzz? Why sales? You don't seem like a salesperson.. (I don't). Very blunt but direct.
Houzz places a large emphasis on role playing in the interview process, both for external and internal roles. It's daunting in the moment but is actually good practice and gives interviewers a good sense of how you think on your feet
