Interview
Recruiter contacted me through LinkedIn. Setting up interview took about a week and was rescheduled a few times. Office was a little difficult to find, so give yourself some extra time to get there. Office is setup with an open floor plan/cube farm. They are expanding into the office next door. Watched an informational video for 30 mins before interview. Interviewer took notes behind a laptop, which made it feel like a doctor's appointment.

Great company to work for. They have a stringent hiring process. You will have multiple interviews followed by a presentation at the end. All in all they want to see if you understand their platform and user mentality. Big props if you show your personality or if you have a positive attitude it will go a long way. It was definitely gruelling but totally fair as the job itself is quit full on.

Why Houzz? Why sales? You don't seem like a salesperson.. (I don't). Very blunt but direct.
Houzz places a large emphasis on role playing in the interview process, both for external and internal roles. It's daunting in the moment but is actually good practice and gives interviewers a good sense of how you think on your feet
