I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Houzz (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
First I had a phone interview with a Houzz recruiter. Pretty standard phone screening discussing many of the questions previously mentioned
Then there was an open house event. There was a presentation by some of the Houzz management team on Houzz. Each candidate also met with a member of management for a few minutes.
A few days later I was called in for a one on one interview. The interview was with a senior recruiter and lasted about an hour. No trick questions but delved into detail about past activities and career history.
A few days after that I had a sales call role play interview. I was given 30 min to prep at the office and the role play itself lasted about 20 min.

What is one college course that you still reference today?
Met with recruiter then hiring manager and team lead manager I would be working with. Pretty fast overall process once they have reached out to you. Several quick questions about experience and then metrics into their company and what the role entails.
It was an efficient process. One phone interview with their recruiter and then an in person interview with a manager. Role playing was part of the interview process (the manager gave me a specific complaint and I had to resolve the customer’s problem).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Houzz
Interview
Thorough but comfortable! I had multiple interviews, but everyone was very personable. They requested an at home typing speed test (to be completed after the first interview) and asked me to email the results to the recruiter.
