Very detailed interview process that takes a thorough dive through your high school and college experience. Step 1: 30 min call with internal recruiter to discuss high school activities, college activities and general questions. Very casual and more conversational. Step 2: Attend an Open Houzz in the downtown office. There were about 6 other candidates in attendance. Everyone seemed friendly and nice and the office is BEAUTIFUL. There was a presentation that went over the specifics of the role and gave and overview of the company and culture. Each candidate had about 5 min to sit one-on-one with a manager. Again, very casual and straightforward questions to try to get an idea of your character. Step 3: One-on-one interview with sales recruiter. She had me fill out a questionnaire prior to arriving that we reviewed. Deeper dive into activities and we talked more about my current position. Step 4: Mock phone call. You get the specifics prior to the mock call and 30 min to prep after arriving at Houzz with their presentation. Mine was recorded for the VP. Then I had an one-on-one interview with a manager which lasted about 45 min. A background check was also done prior to this call. My references were also asked for and called. Overall it was a LONG process. Slight repetitive but they are definitely trying to gauge personality and personal interests to see if they align with their culture. Everyone I interviewed with was nice and asked straight forward questions. If you do your research on the company and have been very involved in a variety activities from an early age I think you have a good shot. Seems like a great company to work for.
