I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Houzz (Irvine, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
First I had a 20-30 min phone interview/screening, and then I was asked to come into their "Open Houzz" with 20 or so other applicants. They explained what the company was about, jobs, etc. for about an hour and afterwards we each had 1 on 1 interviews that lasted 5mins. Seemed very rushed and hard to be myself without trying to get through everything.
Phone screening, two in-person interviews. Very basic get-to-know-you kind of questions. They were interested in what you were like in high school. They used to have the philosophy that your high school performance dictated your professional performance. Not sure if this is still the case.
The interview process was lengthy and you have to go through a fair amount of interviews. There are basic question & answer interviews, and then there was a simulated customer experience interview as well.
