I applied via LinkedIn and heard from the company several weeks later. The recruiter set me up with a coffee meeting with a VP, which went very well. Several weeks later, I had another interview with a C-level employee, who gave me instructions for next steps. After following them—utter silence. Neither the C-level employee nor the recruiter bothered to reach out. Ever. Again. I emailed and called over the course of several weeks with no response.
From a company that claims to operate at the highest standard of professionalism, their ghosting was utterly laughable and reminded me of a 20-something who can't even work up the nerve to say, "Sorry, just not feeling it." To anyone being strung along by this company, bail while you can. Not even the C-suite knows what it wants, or if it does, can't be bothered to communicate it. Six months later and this position is still being advertised. Red flags aplenty.
