I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Calicut, Kerala) in Oct 2019
Interview
The process consisted of an online test and an interview process. The online test concentrated on coding. Those shortlisted were selected for an interview which consisted of three rounds - two technical round and one HR round
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions on algorithms, strings (reverse string), arrays, etc.
What was different from most companies was that here in the technical round I was asked to write the code on paper, and not just make do with the algorithm.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (London, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
The first interview was a bombardment of about 30 questions; the person interviewing me seemed not to have a single clue of what he was even asking me. There were several times when he mentioned things that literally made no sense in the context of programming.
The second interview was another bombardment of about 30 questions with an interviewer who barely spoke English. I answered all questions, and i am sure I failed just a single one. 15 minutes later, I got an email saying that, after "careful consideration" they decided to go with someone else.
Genuine waste of my time. i do not recommend this company until they can find competent people to perform interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies
Interview
Straightforward and easy process. Didn't take too long to get back to me for the hiring decision. The interview itself is more like a discussion to see how much you know about algorithms and data structures
