The interview consisted of 4 rounds:- First was a call from the recruiter and he asked all the standard questions. Second was a technical assessment where I had to replicate the results of a fascinating deep-learning research paper. I was given a week to complete it but I managed to do it in 6 days and I thoroughly enjoyed working on it. The third round was a technical interview but most of that was spent on educating me about the company. The rest of the time we were only discussing the technical assessment. The hiring manager told me that "given my background," he was very impressed with my work but they mostly take people who have an advanced degree or many years of experience for this role. The fourth and final round was supposed to be a culture fit interview but I never made it that far.
