After handing in the application, I have not heard from anyone in the two weeks time frame that HubSpot says they want to contact you no matter what. Since there is no contact given and the number of their local office always cut me off when I asked to be connected to the front office, I had to find a creative solution (won't share this here as it is supposed to be anonymous). This led to me finally getting a response: an invite to a telephone interview (which was really nice). This in turn led to the second interview with the hiring manager (zoom). This talk felt very distanced, cold and not really interested (body language was constantly turned from the camera etc.). During the talk, I was told that I have ample experience. However and to my surprise since I apparently had good experience, I did not make it to the case study (there should be another case study / trial training and if I understood correctly another interview with the team). On their website, it says that you are supposed to get feedback the moment you are one step further in the process than the telephone interview on why you were not selected to move forward - I received none. I sent another mail asking if I could get feedback and was ghosted. Would probably not apply again - which is sad because I really love HubSpot's vision and the way how they want to achieve it. Based on the focus they put on culture, I also thought that it'd be a great fit to my values.
