- a phone interview with a recruiter
-some material to review and prepare on your own for a small product demo
-a video interview with a manager more on the technical side with a small product demo
-a 3 hour video interview session with 3 different team members back to back (1 at a time, not the 3 of them together) : the manager (same one as during the product demo), a senior manager, and a team lead
If you are interviewing for a specific market language, you can expect some of the interviews to be in that language (i.e German, French etc...) and the rest in English
Overall, it's one of the fastest and most positive interview experience I had. I got an offer in 2 weeks time after submitting my application and the recruiter was extremely responsive and available.
3 main things you can expect :
- the very first interview with HR feels a bit scripted with clearly precise questions and your typical behavioral scenarios ("tell me a moment" etc..)
- use logical thinking and past experiences in the demo interview. They WILL ask you questions that you didn't prepare and take things further that the small preparation indicated on the material. However, they don't ask you to KNOW the software. They just want to know where you would look for the answers, how do you react instictively, how do you use your good judgement, and how you would overall handle this. Don't forget you are allowed to use Google to search your answer even during the demo session.
- All the people I've met during the process are incredibly chill, friendly and supportive of you, and HubSpot values do shine already at the interview stages. (I literally spent my very last interview chilling for 20 min with my interviewer talking about video games cause turned out he actually read my hobbies on my CV and was also a gamer)
