I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process was great but can make you nervous! I am happy to share my experience with anyone going through this process currently!
I applied through a recruiter! My recruiter was really nice and helpful! I got my first interview which was a demo! I'd advise watching videos on youtube on how to use the tool! They aren't looking for you to be perfect but know the basics!! Watch videos on workflows, properties, and etc! Also, find a way to connect to the interviewer!
The last part was three back to back interviews with the managers! The key to these are "STAR" responses! They want you to be authentic and be yourself! I'd recommend looking into interview tips and meditation before to calm your nerves, you got this!! They are really nice so be professional but find ways to connect with them at the beginning! Please research them, it is not weird! They want people who are interested in this position and learn more about the company! I'd recommend spending more time on how to respond to how you Effectively communicate with customers!
Write down past work experiences as well, have A LOT of stories ready to tell! This makes you unique throughout the process :)

The hiring process consists of an initial HR interview to assess cultural fit, followed by a technical interview to evaluate skills, and concludes with three separate one-on-one interviews with different managers expecting STAR responses.

It is a 5 step interview process, with the 1st one being a phone screening, then a video call/interactive assignment, and then finally three 30 minute back to back interviews for the 3rd and final round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in Apr 2026
