Interview
Make sure you have an Ivy League degree and are lazy enough to not start something of your own.
Hubspot will gobble you.
I was really exited for the company given its culture but it was a massive let down. I made it to the final round (after one round each with recruiter, hiring manager, panel and VP) but everything seemed so superficial. In the end I did not get the offer. It was funny as I got three more offers for the similar position in other companies with at least 20 percent more than what hubspot was offering.
I was a huge fan of the company but now I highly doubt I will ever apply at hubspot.
The hiring manager had no clue what I was talking about and was incredibly cold and seemed entirely disinterested in my answers. I was told I would move forward in the process and suddenly got a form rejection email with no reasoning as to why.
Recruiter call. Zoom interview. Basic experience and behavioral questions talking about work history and projects and scope. Asked about oghanization size and project technical specs for different work history and went through previous roles.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2025
Interview
Pretty Standard PM interview. Recruiter call and HM interview. If passed then panel followed by a presentation. Focused on past experience and behavioral type questions. Not too hard, if you prepare enough
