There were 4 stages in the interview. Once I got their attention, a recruiter got in touch and did a screening to see if I was a good fit. Questions were more about personality and what I was looking for in a job than skill-based questions.
Once I passed the screening, I talked to the direct manager for the team who also asked more questions to make sure I'm a good fit. I was asked about previous employment and my background, what I was looking for in my career.
For the third interview, I spoke again with the manager and a person on the team and they asked marketing questions, which was relevant to the role. I was assigned a project to do.
For the fourth and final interview, I presented the projected to the two of them, explaining my thinking process, why I did it the way I did, how I would do it differently next time, and so on. After the presentation, I spoke to the manager one-on-one about how to proceed moving forward and any remaining concerns.
A few hours after the fourth interview, I was called by the recruiter and given an offer.
All the interviews happened over the course of 8 days and done over the phone or on Google Hangouts. After each interview, the recruiter sent me an email to schedule the next interview. They move quick.
