After having had so many negative HR experiences at other companies, it was nice to finally see a company like Hulu that treated their candidates in a nice, welcoming, and respectful manner - not to mention their ongoing responsiveness. I had a mix of phone interviews and in person interviews. Nothing too challenging - just asking about my background, general questions regarding the position, ideas, friendly chit chat, etc. In addition to HR and the hiring manager, they like to include peer interviews, which I had mixed feelings about. It was nice to interact with many people at the company though - I found them all to be enthusiastic, and at times motivating... but there was also a level of arrogance in terms of how hard they work/how hard it is to get a job there/how people take title cuts to come to Hulu. I had mixed feelings about what it would be like to work there and where the company would be five years from now. Only frustration was that they seemed to have positions changing or going away late into the interview process, which is frustrating for candidates that feel like they just wasted their time and got hopes up for nothing.
