Interview
The interview process was straight-forward and organized. The recruiter was pleasant and informed. Similar to what others have stated, there is an air of arrogance at Hulu. It's not entirely unpleasant but it's also not attractive. The recruiter mentioned several times that people will take a title demotions to work at Hulu It's not such a problem when the recruiter mentions it once, but she mentioned it on several occasions, including in the initial conversation and then again, later as we were wrapping up for the day at the on-site. I never once broached the subject of title to warrant such aggressiveness about titles. It seemed tacky and unnecessary.
The interviews were a mix of behavioral and case-like interviews. I met several people from the department. The interviewers' skills varied, as you'd expect. The questions were sometimes vague. I believe they wanted you to structure the answer like a case. It was overall a reasonable experience, and they came back with an answer fairly quickly. In the end, I didn't get an offer, and the recruiter said it's because the team is picky. The feedback from the recruiter gave me the impression the team didn't know what they wanted.
Multiple interviews and rounds with different people. However it was great to fully understand in depth the role that you’re interviewing for and the people you could work with, on your team and as an extension.

I applied via the Disney portal for the job and received a call for a phone screen maybe 1 week later. Didn't expect anything of it, and went on to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds. Interviewing with the team was great but scheduling and talking to HR was kind of stressful and not very organized. The whole process all the way to acceptance was about 2.5 months.
