I applied to Hulu back in March. I received a call in May to interview for a Financial Analyst position. Everyone I talked to was SO friendly and SO positive about everything. But then weeks would go by where I didn't hear from them, so I'd send a few emails checking in, until finally someone would respond. Needless to say, this process dragged on for a long time, till about the end of June. I ended up doing three phone interviews, and a Skype interview that last 2 hours with 4 different people. Every person I talked to kept telling me what a great fit I was and how smart they thought I was, and that I'd be perfect for the role. And then I get the email that says we'd like to set up a final phone call with you, which I figured, who would set up a phone call just to say no? Well they did. They said no. So I try to get over it and continue on my job search when 2 months later (so end of August) I get a call again saying they have another position that I would be a great fit for. Long story short, the EXACT same thing happens. But this time they were even more convincing that I was going to get the position, especially since they reached out to me saying I'd be a good fit. So here I am in November, having turned down 4 other positions in the mean time, thinking it would work out with Hulu and now I have nothing. So as nice as everyone was, it was very deceiving and really hurt me in the end.
