Interview
There was a standard recruiter call, followed by a 1:1 that was challenging but fair. You answer a lot of technical questions and do some live coding. One of the tougher technical interviews I've done so far mostly due to the sheer range and amount of content they cover in a small amount of time.

- SQL questions involving WHERE, CAST for date
- Python look and find unique names in a list, count of occurrences for those names, return them in descending order by occurrences
- stats
- explain p value to a layperson
- now explain p value to a math person
- power/sample size: how do you determine, for example for an A/B test?
- ML
- what are batches, epochs?
- what are RNNs?
- what is backprop?
First, a 30-minute screen with recruiter, including a compare/contrast question about two specific software. Next, a 60-minute technical interview -- half is discussing your past work, and half is a shared-screen coding problem that you go into almost blind.
