      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hulu (Santa Monica, CA) in Oct 2015

      Interview

Upon receiving my referral I was contacted by a Hulu recruiter for an initial phone screen that lasted 15-20 minutes. During the call I was made aware of the time frame and next steps (which in my case was to interview with my hiring manager next, via phone) That next call took place in the following week and lasted one hour. Both calls were made on time and were very structured and to the point. During both calls I was told of the escalation to the next stage (in this case an onsite interview with many members of the team) I came onsite the next week and had 5 separate interview sessions spanning across 5+ hours. Lunch was included and everything I needed was provided. I met with many different people and was able to not only provide a lot of information about myself, but also gather a lot of feedback about being a "Hulugan" All interviewers were on time, professional, and came prepared. I also felt very prepared due to the constant communication between the recruiter (Sandy) and myself about expectations. Overall it was a great experience. Everyone was very professional and nice.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Outside of normal technical questions, i was asked many questions around culture and how to deal with different personalities. It was very evident that culture and team collaboration was VERY important.
